Appel d’offre 2016

The Federative Action (AF) of OBSPM on « ALMA-NOEMA-Herschel » is offering (limited)
financial support for participation in schools, workshops, collaborations, etc.  in 2016
aimed at training in or exploiting these powerful submm instruments, their synergies with other wavelengths,
and enhancing the visibility of the OBSPM expertise in this area (e.g. ).

Examples eligible for funding include:
– IRAM interferometry Summerschool, Grenoble, Oct 2016
– collaborative visits on ALMA-NOEMA-Herschel projects
– presentations as PI at conferences (e.g. « Half a Decade of ALMA: Cosmic Dawns Transformed », Sept 20 – 23, USA)

IMPORTANT: People intending to ask funding to the Conseil Scientifique of OBSPM through the open call « Blanc »
on themes related to ALMA-Noema-Herschel need first to send a copy of their proposal to the present Call.
We will send you a scientific evaluation, that must be attached with your proposal submission to the CS (deadline 20th February) .

The applications for AF funding or CS proposal evaluation must be sent at the latest monday
February 8th, 2016,  to Raphael.Moreno@obspm.fr and Sylvie.Cabrit@obspm.fr.


The applications for funding should not exceed 1 page and include:
– Name, Laboratory, status (student, postdoc, permanent), supervisor if any
– Place, date, and title of even
– for schools, workshops, etc: short description of motivation (and supervisor
approval for students)
– Precise justification of funding asked (e.g. registration fee, transport, or
lodging)
– indication of alternative/complementary funding

Results will be communicated to the applicants by February 15th, 2016; In the case of projects that will be
submitted to the « Programme Blanc » of CS of Obs. Paris, a scientific
evaluation by the coordinateurs of this AF will be sent as well.
